2024 is underway!!

We are delighted to announce our first speakers for 2024. Let’s kick off with:

Jolyon Naegele in Conversation with Mark Seddon … we imagine that these two will have much of interest to talk about!

Jolyon Naegele is a New York-born former East Europe correspondent at Voice of America (1984-94), Balkans editor at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (1996-2003), and chief political affairs officer at the UN peacekeeping mission in Kosovo UNMIK (2003-17).

Jolyon lives in the Czech Republic.

Mark Seddon is Director for the Centre of United Nations Studies at the University of Buckingham. He was previously a Journalist, Editor of Tribune, UN correspondent for Aljazeera English TV, speechwriter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, Director of Communications for the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity under Gordon Brown and senior Communications Officer for the president of the UN General Assembly, Maria Fernanda Espinosa.

Mark has recently moved to The Marches and is taming a large garden in rural north Herefordshire
